So here he is!

All I had was a camera phone so I didn't get a very good shot. Brian Davies of the Eugene Register Guard was kind enough to provide one of his pictures to us for which I am EXTREMELY grateful. Thanks Brian!

The show was a total hit. Dad shared the stage with an eclectic group of locals who spoke on assisted suicide, green building, Dick Cheney's hunting accident (of course), and the budget. Peter DeFazio and Mayor Kitty Piercy were just two of the other guests. It was fun!

Dad spoke about the shady labor pracitices of German owned shipping company DHL and their use of temp workers to deliver packages here in the Eugene area. Dad mentioned that the Guard has done little to cover the DHL situation and, low and behold, the paper bannered a story on DHL in that Sunday's commentary section.

Franken was great... the show was great... and all the crazy people were on hand in the audience. (My family included).

I'm working on getting a podcast of the show and will keep y'all posted if I find one.

Please do! I couldn't make it, but I'd love to hear it. :)
